About SAHELI

President
Anju Tibrewal
Secretary
Sapna Gupta

Founded in 2004 under the patronage of the Shree Agarwal Samaj (Madras), Saheli is an Associaiton of welfare oriented like-minded married women of the Agarwal community. Its identity is captured in its contribution to society in fields such as education, culture and medicine.

Social impact is a measurable outcome. 1000-1500 tribal students are beneficiaries of the club's contributions made through partnerships with social organisations such as FTS. During times of adversity such as the Chennai floods or the onset of the global pandemic, the club rallied support for victims through food and other donations.

It has from time to time worked with the disabled and sponsored rooms in medical institutions such as the Kola Saraswati Agarwal Samaj Health Centre. Saheli aims to make a mark on society by backing it's intent of empowerment with meaningful contributions and in doing so it pays tribute to the values set forth by the Shree Agarwal Samaj (Madras).
